SLAB PREPARATION — GOLD COAST & BRISBANE

Concrete is only as good as what it's poured on. We prep slabs to your engineer's spec — cut to level, base layer of road base or recycled concrete, compacted in lifts, screeded flat, ready for the concreter to walk straight onto.

Whether it's a 4x4 garden shed pad or a 250m² double-garage build, the standard is the same.

    Cut to subgrade

    Site cut to subgrade level per your engineer's slab detail.

    Compact subgrade

    Subgrade compacted before base layer goes down — the foundation for the foundation.

    Supply base material

    Road base, RCA or crusher dust supplied direct from our materials yard.

  4. 4

    Spread in lifts

    Base material spread and compacted in 100mm lifts — never dumped in one go.

  5. 5

    Screed and check

    Final screed to slab level, levels confirmed, ready for the concreter and formwork.
