These terms apply to all earthmoving, excavation, drafting, steel fabrication, materials supply, and related services ("Services") provided by Sollid Solutions (ABN 88 377 919 690) ("we", "us"), and to use of our website sollidsolutions.com.au. By engaging us or accepting a quote, you ("the Client") agree to these terms.

1. Quotes

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Quotes are based on the information and site conditions provided at the time of quoting. Unforeseen conditions (rock, services, contamination, access issues, weather) may result in a variation.
Quotes exclude GST unless stated, and exclude council fees, certifier costs, surveys, dial-before-you-dig clearances, and disposal of contaminated material unless specifically included.

2. Variations

Any change to the agreed scope — including additional excavation, rock breaking, extra spoil removal, or work outside the original quote — will be charged as a variation at our standard rates and confirmed in writing (email or SMS is sufficient).

3. Site access & responsibilities

The Client is responsible for providing safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the site.
The Client must identify the location of all underground services (water, gas, electrical, telecom, irrigation, pool plumbing). We rely on this information and on dial-before-you-dig data; we accept no liability for unmarked or incorrectly marked services.
The Client is responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals, permits, and certifications.
The Client must inform us of any easements, retaining walls, septic systems, or sensitive structures on or near the worksite.

4. Weather & delays

We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather, site safety, or events outside our reasonable control. We'll do our best to give you as much notice as possible.

5. Payment terms

A deposit may be required to secure your job in our schedule.
Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Overdue accounts may incur interest at 10% per annum and recovery costs.
We accept bank transfer; card payment may be available on request and may incur a surcharge.

6. Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled start may incur a call-out fee to cover mobilisation costs and lost scheduling.

7. Liability

We carry public liability insurance and operate to industry safety standards.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the works performed.
We are not liable for consequential loss, damage to unmarked underground services, or damage caused by site conditions not disclosed by the Client.

8. Warranty

We warrant our workmanship in line with Australian Consumer Law. Defects must be reported within a reasonable time of being discovered. We will rectify genuine workmanship defects at no cost.

9. Materials supply

Material quantities are estimates based on the dimensions you provide. Natural products (soil, sand, gravel, mulch) vary in colour, texture, and moisture. Risk passes to the Client on delivery; we are not responsible for damage caused by directing deliveries onto driveways, lawns, or other surfaces.

10. Use of photos

We may take photos of completed work for use in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing. We will not publish identifying information (street address, full name) without your permission. Email us if you'd prefer your job not be featured.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
