ROCK BREAKING FROM $160 – $220 / HR — VARSITY LAKES
Hydraulic rock breaking is charged at an hourly rate that reflects the slower work and the wear on the gear. Smaller machines start around $160/hr; the larger 5T + heavy breaker package runs $200–$220/hr. We always estimate likely hours upfront so you can budget — and we'll stop and talk before blowing past the estimate.
ROCK BREAKING ACROSS VARSITY LAKES
Varsity Lakes is one of the Gold Coast's busiest residential and lifestyle suburbs — modern homes around the lake, growing families, and constant new-build activity. Sollid Solutions provides earthmoving across Varsity Lakes for pool digs, site cuts, slab prep and tight-access excavation in established estates.
Local ground conditions: Varsity Lakes sits on reclaimed canal-edge ground and sandy fill in many estates, with clay subsoils underneath. Water table is closer to the surface near the lake — pool excavations sometimes need pumping. Bulk excavation is generally clean digging.
