POOL DIG $3,500 – $7,000 + ~$2,000 SPOIL — MERMAID BEACH
The excavation runs $3,500–$7,000 depending on size and rock — sandy, easy-access blocks sit at the lower end, rocky or tight-access blocks at the top. Spoil removal (cart-away) is usually around $2,000 on top, quoted as its own line. Heavy hinterland rock or canal-front dewatering is priced separately. Always priced after a free site visit — never blind phone quotes.
Local rock note: Mermaid Beach is predominantly coastal sandy-loam over reactive clay, with the water table sitting higher on canal-side and oceanfront blocks. Rock is essentially nil — the challenge is access, not ground.
