AMA Collision Carpark Rejuvenation

Project Scope
Commercial carpark and access-area rejuvenation for AMA Collision — around 100 tonnes of aggregate supplied, spread, graded and compacted.
The Challenge
AMA Collision is the largest collision repair company in Australia, and this Arundel site has vehicles moving through it all day. Constant traffic, daily operations and rain washout had left the carpark and access areas with low spots, uneven surfaces and drainage problems that needed fixing without shutting the site down.
How We Approached It
- 1Assessed the carpark and access areas to map the low spots and drainage falls
- 2Supplied and tipped around 100 tonnes of aggregate to site
- 3Spread and graded the aggregate to fill the low spots and re-establish fall for drainage
- 4Compacted the surface to a smooth, consistent, hard-wearing finish
Equipment Used
- Loader for spreading aggregate
- Excavator
- Compaction roller
- Tipper trucks for aggregate delivery
Materials Handled
Around 100 tonnes of aggregate supplied, spread and compacted across the carpark and access areas.
Outcome
A cleaner, safer, more functional carpark with the low spots gone and drainage restored — built to handle constant daily traffic.
Key Takeaways
- Worn commercial carparks can often be rejuvenated by grading and topping up — no need for a full rebuild
- Fixing the fall and drainage stops water pooling and slows down future wash-out
- Around 100 tonnes lifted the whole surface back to a consistent, safe level
